Our inn has been lovingly updated to offer two large guest suites while still keeping its historic character. The B&B’s namesake, Meriwether Lewis, who led the Corps of Discovery expedition to the Pacific Northwest with William Clark in 1806, is buried at nearby Meriwether Lewis Park on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Lewis died from gunshot wounds in 1809 on the old Natchez Trace while traveling from St. Louis to Washington.
